Review: Every time we eat here we are always pleased. The dinners are always consistently delicious. We can never break away from ordering the Eggplant Parm and the Tilapia special. The stewed vegetables served with the meal is the best.......service and staff is always great!!!!!

Review: Although we own a home in the area, we still commute - we love Chianti South and try to visit as often as we can. The food is consistently wonderful and the service is really outstanding - it is a keeper and it is worth the trip to see the lights in the live oak tree!!

Review: This may be the best Italian restaurant on the Grand Strand. The staff is among the nicest, most professional you will ever encounter. I had the veal chops when we went down in March, and they were perfect. The demiglace and potatoes were spectacular. My wife believes Chianti's Fetticuni Shrimp Alfredo is the best she's ever had. We also agree that their house merlot is also the best we've ever had. A wonderful dining experience, and we plan to go back again when we visit the strand in June.

Review: Being from New Jersey, where there is an abundance of Italian restuarants, and the quality in many of them is top-notch, Chianti South can move here anytime and shine above all others. The food was nothing less than excellant. James at the bar was friendly and welcoming. Arturo went out of his way to make us feel welcome. It does not get any better.

Review: We have been vacationing at Ocean Isle Beach for 20 years and have passed this restaurant numerous times on our way to Myrtle Beach for dinner, never noticing it or stopping to try it. I read the reviews on it here and we decided to give it a try. We have been twice within 1 month, everything we have had has been excellent. The bread they serve beforehand could easily make a meal: Very crusty italian with a wonderful soft interior, served with olive oil and parmesan cheese....I'm drooling already! My husband tried the lentil soup, insisting I at least try one bite. I have hated lentils since childhood, but to appease him I agreed to have one tiny bite. Needless to say, I am now a big fan of their lentil soup, it's not to be missed! Please try this restaurant, you won't be disappointed!

Review: The calamari had so much stuff on it you couldn't taste it. My lasagna was so saucey it was ridiculous, plus it had a piece of zucchini in it ...I'm not coming back.

Review: Went for the first time and loved it. We are from the Boston area and always compare italian restaurants to the ones in the North End. Chianti South was equal if not better than some we have gone to in Boston. Loved it!

Review: We discovered Chianti South a few years ago and now it is a must every time we visit the Myrtle Beach area. Really fine Italian cuisine here, and classy but not expensive. Can't wait to go back. The wine list is fabulous, and the Castello Banfi Pinot Grigio does not disappoint. Love the huge LiveOak tree outside the window. The staff and owners are friendly and attentive. Their website is fun and informative.

Review: Chianti's is one of my favorite places. From the manicotti to the meatballs to the specials, their twist of authentic Italian delicacies is one of the best on this beach. A little far north of the heart of Myrtle Beach, but definitely worth the drive.
