I love the menu at CHEESESTEAKU. However there is one detail that I'm having a problem with. I have eaten at this place many times and each time I come in, the whole dining room keeps looking dirtier and neglected. Also the restrooms look like they need a lot of attention. This is making me wonder what the kitchen is looking like. Allie, it's time to get to work cleaning. ref: 28175

I was disappointed. We ordered cheesesteaks. They tasted good however, no cheese on top it was melted through the meat. Therefore, you really couldn't taste any cheese. Not all the roll had meat on it. It did not look like the pictures! The ice tea was old. Yuk. The place could have been a lot cleaner. :( ref: 26995

I'm from Philadelphia a short drive away from the local cheesesteak tourist traps and let me tell you Cheesesteak U has all those guys beat hands down! I'm down here for school @ CCU and after hearing some friends brag about this place I decided to check it out and I'm glad I did! The steak was cooked perfect with the cheese mixed in and they use Philly Amoroso rolls the real deal. I did have to wait a while but the place was busy and the phone kept ringing so was probably due to the Friday night rush but the food was for sure worth the wait! The owner or manager (not sure) joked about it being my first time there and said I'll be hooked, he was right! ref: 24662

This place is all about cheesesteaks and they really deliver...but it's not really what you expect. the pieces of meat in the sandwich are much thicker than your average cheesesteak. It was almost more of a roast beef. The cheese was melted and mixed with the meat making it a wad of goo with meat through it. I was put off by the appearance sure and the flavor and texture of the meat was a little different but i did really enjoy it and was extremely full afterwards. ref: 21267

The Best CheeseSteakes I have ever had. I live in York PA. a short drive from Philly, I have had my share of good cheese steaks. While on vacation to Myrtle Beach I ate at CheeseSteak U and what a surprise. They had the best cheese steaks I have ever had. In Philly we know It Is All About The Bread!! If you put good meat on crapy bread you get junk. These guys use the best rolls and the best meat. I wish they had a CheeseSteak U near me in York!
