Review: My review is from 2001 - 2005 but this place was at a time the best. The bartender was Denise a serious hottie and good time, we shut the place down several times. Food was great, service was better and all the locals were always there...

Review: Chris is a great new owner, not sure if all is the same though, everything changed after one of the hottest ladies ever tending bar left there and not for the good, cant remember her name but she was prior to Chris taking ownership and just so damn nice and a real hottie and NOT gay!

Review: We come to Garden City Murrells inlet area a good bit during the year and each and every time we go we love going to Causeway whether its for lunch or going at night for drinks and watching everyone dance and sing. Its a fun and very enjoyable place to go and hang out.

Review: This restaurant is usually crowded. We finally got a parking place and to our surprise it is just average. The food was good but the wait staff was not. They acted as if they were doing you a favor. NOT GOOD in a resort town.

Review: Allways a great time to be had at Causeway! I come here everytime I visit, the staff is very friendly and the food is great. They make very good pizza and calzones. They also have wings, chicken and burgers as well. The drink specials and prices are very good. they have a few pool tables and video games. the place is large, they have live entertainment everyday!

Review: After spending $14.00 for the oyster basket they wanted an extra .50 for another tater sauce! Are you kidding me! Keep your .50, I'll never back. The service wasn't all that great too. Use to be a great place.

Review: I was in town on business and went to this Bar and was very happy I did. Plus they are also getting ready to entertain the bikers coming down in a few weeks too. But they are a class act bar, Great service and very friendly staff!

Review: What happened to this place. It used to be a fun place to go. Now they are so slow and rude. Most of the staff has changed and the entertainment has gone way down hill. Our group used to have so much fun there. Not anymore. The booze is not cheat but it is watered down. The Karaoke people changed and they really don't have a clue what they are doing. 2 years ago I would have gave the a 5 star rating. Not now. We will not be coming back.

Review: Just went there last week and had a good time watching the kareyoke people. never tryed the food, but the drinks are definately watered down. I had like 7 or 8 rum and coke's and though I was buzzing good, not drunk. I can have two just about anywhere else and I'm tore-up-from-the-floor-up...

Review: My husband and I have been frequenting the Causeway Grill for the last year and bring all of our out of state family and friends there and everyone loves it and always enjoys going there. The staff doesn't just treat you like they want your money, they treat you like family! The food is great and the prices are what you would expect to pay at any vacation town. Yes, sometimes we've had to wait a little longer than we would like to get our food or drink but that was expected with the staff as busy as they are with other customers. It is very family oriented and a great place for the whole family to come out and have a good time. We especially like the fact that in the evenings the bar is for adults only because young kids tend to cause problems and we adults enjoy our time away from the kids as well. I would highly recommended if you haven't been to Causeway Bar, you definitely should. And make sure that you take care of your bartenders, Lisa, Erica, Dustin and Amanda, they will take care of you!

Review: I have been coming to the beach for 10 years. I have always made it a point to spend a good amount of time at the causeway. The staff and owners have ALWAYS made me feel right at home. Its nice to walk in and they already have my drink ready an only see my wife and I once a year. That says alot right there. I have read some of the comments on this page... I would ignore the negative once and check it out for yourself. Maybe the people writing these comments were the ones with the bad attitudes.. I highly recommend this place, the food and the service.

Review: Took my family to this place and was having a good time until the food came.My wifes food was cold and i saw through the kitchen door a piece of food fall on the floor and the waitress pick it up and put it back on the plate and proceed to take it to the table beside me. So when i asked to just pay for my drinks they could care less and didnt even ask why.My drinks didnt even taste like there was any liqour in them either.Won,t be back and will tell everyone i know when they go to Garden City not to go there!

Review: Was in today at 4:00pm, Wonderful waitress, tho a little too busy .When our food finally came out my fried grouper was good, my grandson's chicken strips were good, however my wife's baked grouper sandwich was still raw inside, we sent it back and changed to fried. By the time we finished eating the waitress came to tell us that my wife's sandwich would be out in a minute,"verrry long" minute later her sandwich was ready which she no longer wanted so we took it to go. At the checkout I asked for a manager and the lady kept asking why I wanted a manager, would not call anyone for me, so I finally told her why I wanted the manager, only then did she say she was a manager. Very poor attitude, does not know how to deal with the public and has absolutely no business in that position.I am a native of MBSC and reside in Surfside. I feel like this was a wasted $40.00 and everyone I know will hear of my experience.Instead of just saying she would handle it with the cook and being polite she got argumentative and finally smarted off by asking me what I wanted her to do about it! No doubt I will never enter that establishment again.

Review: The place sais its a raw bar but the only thing they have is oysters. They should quit false advertising just to get people in there. But i guess they have to because the bartenders barely want to be there as it is from what i can tell because it took 10 minutes to get a drink. Very dissapointed because the bar is very pretty. There is also no parking for this place so plan on walking a long way too.

Review: Excellent bar! Had a great time for the past few years I have been coming. The quality if service is amazing except for nights when the male bartender Chris would get completely trashed and have less of a clue what he was doing. Complete joke is the type of employee he was. All is well though, everyone else works hard to set a comfortable environment. Not to mention the Pizzeria has the best pizza around!!! Definitely going to come back next year! The owners, chris and sue, have made mine and my families time down in south Carolina worthwhile.

Review: What a great place to go if you are on vacation. My wife and I stayed a week in Garden City and after spending alot of time at Causeway the staff made us feel like we were one of the locals. We enjoyed the food and the pizza was killer. The staff and service was great. I will be sending all my friends your way. Thanks again Erica & Lisa we had a blast.

Review: wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! The oriental bartender needs to find another line of work because she obviously hates being a bartender and barely pays attention to the customers.Come to find out she was the owner. Dont go there if you like good service!

Review: Well the owners made us feel like we owed them something the food was only ok but the prices wow that was a shocker way to high for what it is. I would rather get my burger from Mcdonalds and go to the playground. At least at the playground the kids act like kids. At the causeway they all act like children.. Will not return. Waited 20 minutes to get my second drink.

Review: The best bartender we ever had but the the food was ok and the oriental girl that thought she was a bartender had no clue! Chris the bartender made up for any inconvenience we had though! Review: I had been to Bike week in the past and never went into this club until 2010, WOW the overall expierence was excellent. I Had the best service here and the food was assome. I will back for sure. Weather your a biker, golfer or a family this is a very excellent place to eat and grab a cold beer. Me and my brother rode down from Ohio on our bikes and they treated up very well, Thanks for all the hard work guys and keep up the excellent service see you next year!

Review: This is one of my favorite places to go to relax. Chris the owner, and chris the bartender leave no room for improvement. I always recommend this bar to my renters, and I go there as much as possible. The atmosphere, the service is no less than great. Some nights, the noise level is just a little loud. Review: We chose an appetizer of raw oysters, a salad, hamburger, and fish basket. The appetizer came out with the food. The oysters were old and made both my husband and my stomach's upset the next day. The fried fish was raw inside. The salad and hamburger were good. The name should be changed. How can you say you are a raw bar when you only serve one type of raw seafood; that is bad on top of it..

Review: This was a nice place but then I realized how the bartender was ripping me off. Was being over charged for drinks I had 3 rum and cokes and was charged for 5. The bardtender insisted I pay my tab or she will call the cops. Then I found out that the bartender was really the owner. Sorry for the bad review but you had it comming.

Review: We stopped into the Causeway on our way back to our hotel and will NEVER go back! We waited 10 minutes for the bartender to stop talking to what looked like the owner and when she did come over to us she was extremely rude! She acted as if we were interrupting her conversation. It was really noisy with an echo and some woman came out of the kitchen holding a little dog! No thanks! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Review: Jody, the Jagermetister! The best bartender we have ever had! We enjoyed ourselves way too much! I recomend the crab cakes, cheese fries, the Ruben is excellent also the potato skins! Thats all i got to try but I'm sure the rest of the food is just as good! Jody made our time there so much fun along with Chris, Sissy, and April. The atmosphere is great and the music (bands and DJ) are awesome. This is by far the best bar we have ever been to! We will definitely go again.

Review: Causeway Grill & Raw Bar is the coolest place on the beach. The Karaoke guy is sooooooo crazy. Chris the bartender is awesome as well as a cutie. The owner Chris is as sweet as eye candy. Sue is a darling with a smile on her face. Sissy is "short" and sweet. Everyone needs to check out Causeway Grill. Come see the "Crazy Donkey" for Krazy Karaoke & DJ.

Review: Excellent place to party. Good food good people good entertainment. Roadhouse rock n roll atmosphire. Seperate attached dinning room for a quieter dinner. Best karaoke I have ever herd. Good bands on the weekend. Trust me I am a regular.....
