We are NEVER dissapointed when we walk through the doors of Carrabbas in NMB.Of course living in a tourist area-we know to avoid summer and holiday evenings unless we care to wait ( which we don't) so we use the 'to go 'often during tourist season.Sundays after church and the summer lunches are always wonderful. The hostess are always friendly & smilingwith a friendly greeting. It's nice to see hugs given& hear return customers greeted by name. How refreshing to know there will be new dishes to experience as well as the 'tried and true' signature dishes.Bathroms are always immaculate ( very important!).The wait staff "servers" explain in specific detail how any specific dish is prepared. Our tea glasses never reach the botom of the glass before a new fresh full glass is presented! We enjoy the cool darkened enviroment-it adds european flair! When we have family groups- we have not experienced any problem with call ahead seating, The rare times we have been told a wait-it's been LESS than the time quoted. The hostess offered complimentary appetizers 'on the house' along with sweet tea during the wait which was a very nice unexpected treat to help pass the time. The managers and/or proprieter are visible, attentive to customers and their experience. The staff are professional in their attire.I know this is 'the beach' but it's tiring to constantly see dirty worn out t-shirts in other restaurants-not at Carrabbas! My only vice? bring back the italian music!

The food is always good here, But.... $9.00 For a glass of wine, for an inexpensive white zif..A couple of drinks would have been more than the entrees..Special note: Dont order any wine you will be surprised by the price like we were.. 5 or 6 dollars is reasonable but 9.. come on!

I was part of a group of 10 who ate at this restaurant on March 3, 2011. I was very disappointed in the food & the service. Three couples SPECIFICALLY requested that the main course be served only after we had finished our appetizers and soup or salad. We were assured that this would not happen. Lo and behold, the main course arrived way before we had finished our salad or soup. We refused the main course. The staff apologized, blamed it on the kitchen & assured us that new dishes would be prepared. When my main course (seafood cannelloni) arrived, it was dry and over-cooked. I suspect that it had been re-heated. As well, there was a shell in the food. When our VERY strong coffee arrived, there were only 4 creamers provided for 3 cups of coffee. Our attempts to snag a waiter were in vain. This is the last time I will eat at this restautrant.

After being seated shortly we were left at the table for at least 15 to 20 minutes for the waiter to show up. It all went downhill after that. The waiter then returned ten minutes later with our drinks, we were left again for another 2o minutes before he even returned to take our order. The calamari was the worst I have ever eaten anywhere, it tasted like rubber. We waited over an hour for our dinners and were left without our soup and salad until right before they served it. I can honestly say that it was one of the worst run establishments I have ever been in for dinner in years. The Service was horrible and I cannot believe they actually did not even try to make up for it in any way at all. Don't waste your time or money on this joke of a place

Went to Carrabas 7-4-10 because we had a gift card. Waiter was very poor - never brought bread until we asked, then came back and said he had thrown our order away, could we tell him our order again. Asked for butter for the bread, that took a good 10 mins to get. Waiter was very unapologetic, acted like "Oh well". Food was so-so. Won't be going back again.

Had eaten at another Carrabas in another city and it was good. This one is ho-hum...sat at cooking bar and had to request bar be re-cleaned as it had a greasy film that would not go away. Seafood dishes had a very strong smell...almost overpowering...pizza was undercooked. Definitely overpriced for pasta and a little shrimp...a $7.00 dessert? will reconsider before returning.

We visited this restaurant on Tuesday, July 28, 2009. I'm not one to answer all areas as excellent, but this restaurant deserves just that. I cannot think of a dining experience I have enjoyed more. From the moment we sat down and the waitress brought a hot loaf of Italian bread and some freshly ground herbs to go with the olive oil on the table, I knew this meal was going in the right direction. Yum! Yum! Instead of a salad, I began with the Sicilian Chicken Soup, which was delicious. For our meals, we ordered from the "Wood-Burning Grill" section of the menu. I had the Pollo Rosa Maria with cavatappi amatriciana. That is a chicken stuffed with cheese and prosciutto, topped with mushrooms and a basil lemon butter sauce and some corkscrew pasta with veggies. I have never tasted anything so delicious in my life!!!! My husband ordered the Sirloin Marsala, which was very good, but not even close to the chicken. I spied at as many tables as I could, and there was nothing that looked any less than scrumptious. (-; The waitress was very friendly and served us well. The cost of the meals are quite reasonable, especially for the amazing food. Ours were $16.50 and $18, respectively. I surely wish there was a Carrabba's near me!!!

We ate here on Sunday, July 19, 2009. Arriving at 7:45 pm we had a 45 minute wait for a table inside. We ordered the calamari ricardo but we were disappointed. No spice at all. The mozzarella marinara was good and the bread and dipping oil was tasty. That's about it. The linguine pescatore had no spice at all. This dish is suppose to have a nice spicy marinara sauce but it didn't. The spiedino dimare was awlful. The shimp/scallops are coated with breadcrumbs and they are suppose to be broiled. They were undercooked. The side dish of spaghetti pomodoro tasted like sauce out of a can.

Enjoy intimate setting, not stuffy with an Italian villa feel of lattice and grapevines. I did not feel like I was eating at a family chain. They have an impressive wine selection. Our server was right on about making recommendations. The bread is warm and served with dipping oil. Calamari is traditional style and plenty for two. The salad was mediocre. However the steak was phenomenal. Medium means medium here. The pasta and broccoli sides were good proportions. Wait staff is genuinely friendly and truly concerned with customer satisfaction. I will definitely be going back.

Mrs. Knickerbocker & I have been enjoying ourselves at the Nashville, TN, Green Hills Carrabbas for over four years. We have been recipients of the most courteous and professional waitstaff that we have ever encountered. Great credit goes to all the managers we have met over the past four years, especially the most recent, Eric V. Martino. The restaurant provides a very family friendly atmosphere and indeed it feels as all the staff are part of one family, they with the customers. On a recent night out at Carrabbas, Mr. Martino came by our table & asked what I was eating. I had ordered a bowl of pasta and dumped a large serving of Calamari Ricado on top of the pasta. (Try it you'll like it.) In typical Carrabbas behavior, Eric proclaimed the dish "Pasta Knickerbocker" in honor of its inventor. Of course I was pleased! What great acknowledgement and what great PR. No wonder we continue to come back. By the way, we have to travel over 50 miles to go to Carrabbas and it is well worth the trip. Thanks for this opportunity.......jk

I haven't been a Carrabba's fan but decided to give it another shot 8/10/08. Showed up early, 5PM and was seated immediately. Had the Cozze in Bianco for an appetizer. I love mussels. Excellent. Save the bread for the sauce. Ask for more bread if needed.

CHICKEN BRYAN Grilled chicken breast topped with goat cheese, sundried tomatoes and a basil lemon butter sauce

I got this as part of a special, Piatto di Polla, along with Chicken in a port wine reduction. The port wine chicken was good but the Chicken Bryan was one of the best things I have EVER eaten. It was that good.

I will try it again in the near future to see if the quality is repeatable.

We stopped at this restuarant in feb. 2008 we had been to the beach for our sons 10 th birthday and he loves this place. We at the resturaunt in wilimington at least everyother month we enjoyed the one at myrtle beach. The people who have complained about their wait probably has never worked in that kind of environment and needs to take a chill pill. Mistakes happen no one is perfect. We loved the food our waiter and will return and again when we are in the area. Thank you.

We just visited this restaurant 7-19-08 after reading all these reviews. Sorry to say that our waiter was totally lost. We were asked if it was okay to be seated outside and we said yes. Big mistake. Bugs were terrible and people waiting to be seated were everywhere. We had no privacy and it was very loud. Food was passable but my daughter's didn't come until everyone else was almost finished. They did bring her a free dessert but we had to wait forever for her to get it. This was the first night of our vacation. What a way to start.

Right before Christmas , my daughters and I had the worst service possible. We couldn't get refills on drinks. Had to ask twice for more bread. Seemed like an insult when we asked for extra herbs and some butter. We ordered chicken pizza with extra pine nuts. When waitress brought out pizza , she said "I think they forgot to the pine nuts", she took the pizza and brought it back with pine nuts poured on top ! So they weren't baked in the pizza and way too many! One daughter and I then ordered soup and salad. The other daughter ordered soup and one of the entere salads. Her salad came out as small as our dinner salads. (I've had their larger salads before, I know they're huge!) Dressing was suppose to be on the side. It wasn't! We didn't say anything because we had already complained about the pizza, size of salad, and had to beg for more bread. We then sat there for 20-30 minutes after we were finished eating, no drinks and wanting to order dessert. She never came to the table. Finally, we got up to go to restroom, the waitress was on her cell phone. Never apologized or said anything except "I was giving you all plenty of time to finish!" DUH! with no drink, etc....

My parents and I had a very enjoyable lunch this past Sunday. The food and service was very good. My parents won't be here for Christmas (going to N.J. to visit grandchildren) so this was our Christmas dinner together. My parents both commented that the food is so much better and so was the service then Stuart, Fl. where they had been. They live in Vero Beach, Fl. now and have not had a chance to try the Carrabba's there. We ate: The Johnny, The Damian & the stuffed chicken/spinach cannoli. Like I said--every thing was delicious. Thank you for the nice day!!! JR Maykowski

I dine quite often at Carrabba's, and last week I noticed the amount of food served was greatly decreased. There were two croutons in my caesar salad. The chicken parmesan was served with tiny pieces of chicken pounded down to almost nothing. The quality of food is excellent, but there was not much there on my plate. cmk

Utilized "call ahead" seating for our party of 6. Arrived a bit early and were seated right around our desired time. Food was terrific to include everything from appetizer to salads to entrees. Food arrived at expected temperatures and everything was fresh. The bread they serve is hot and fresh. Service overall was not bad, especially for as busy as they were. This was our first time at this restaurant and definately will be back! A must try.

A horrible restaurant, well this Carrabba's in particular is poorly run. Arrived to eat dinner, we were sat after the hostess finished their conversation between each other. We were taken to our table, ordered an appetizer which was burnt and disgusting. Our meals took about 55 minutes and when they got to us, they were cold. Our server apologized and told the manager and he came over to us however offered us nothing, barely even said sorry. I will NEVER go back.

If you like a little food with your garlic, this is your place. The true sign of a bad italian restaurant is one that hides bad food with loads of garlic. I can't understand why this place is so crowded.

We are from Windsor, Ontario Canada. We have a very big population of Italian's with one of the best streets full of Italian Resturants. I love Carrabba's better than anyone of those resturants at home. We had Lasagna and we had so much, we had to take doggie bags. The first time we ate there I had steak and it was the best I've ever tasted. I've read some of the other people's comments and can't believe they didn't like it. Maybe they are use to McDonald's. We love it and we'll be back next year. Our favourite of Myrtle Beach.

Don't sit in the booths they are so uncomfortable. We had a party of five with two ordering filet mignon with shrimp. One steak was "very" overcooked and sent back. 45 minutes later, everyone was finished eating with the remains packed up in doggie bags and still no replacement dinner. After flagging down the manager he said the second steak was also overcooked and they were working on the third. The table was cleared off when the third steak showed up. The waiter never offered one word of apology, no adjustment on the bill and no one cared that our whole evening was a mess. We are locals and had guests from out of town. Will NEVER go back.

Even though I live on the south end, I invited my parents in Little River to join me at the Carrabas in North Mrytle Beach. When we entered the restaurant we were immediately assailed by the strong smell of garlic...so strong you could taste it in your fillings! The food was inedible for the same reason. (My dad...who loves a free meal...left his dinner uneaten.) I am originally from large metropolitan area with a true Italian population so I have tasted fine Italian food. I'm sorry...perhaps there was an accident in the kitchen; it was just awful.

Folks, this is the best place in Myrtle Beach to eat, period. The servers are warm and friendly, they make you feel like family. I am told that the food is made fresh daily, and the value for fresh food, home made sauces and dressings is excellent. The manager runs a tight ship, and the result is the finest Carabba's I have eaten at anywhere. Don't come to Myrtle Beach without eating at this restaurant...

I have eaten at many different Carrabba's along the east coast, and this one is one of the best. Great service and, as always, excellent food. Get there early, or be prepared to wait, especially in season.

My wife and I always eat here when we are visiting Myrtle Beach. The food has always been excellent!! The service has always been very good too. We always visit last week of September first week of October. That may have something to do with it.

We love eating here after church on Sunday for lunch. Always great selection of food, totally nice waitstaff, decent prices. Their shrimp and chicken dishes (served over pasta of course) as well as their special sauces are great.
