Review: Whenever we come to Myrtle Beach this is the place we always have dinner the first night we are in town. Food is excellent, service is terrific. So many complain about the wait for a table. It is like most other places around evening meal time and for a beach resort area, what do you expect? We have never waited over 45 minutes. The trick is to get there about 5:00. However, if there is a wait, we look at it as an oppotunity to sip on a drink and watch TV. WE LOVE IT!!

Review: We ventured to the Carolina RoadHouse as it was recommended by some friends who live in Myrtle Beach. We went for the seafood, and we did not come away disappointed. The portions were larger than expected. The platters were moderately priced - about $17 for a combination platter. The flounder was excellent, and the shrimp were large and very tasty. The service was average, but the ambiance was nice in the large post and beam great room. After going to calabash our first night, then murrels inlet our second night, we were most satisfied on the third night of our trip with our visit to the roadhouse. We would recommend to anybody, and plan to go back on our next trip to MB. Enjoy.

Review: My family loves this restaurant and it is always the first place we go on our annual Myrtle Beach vacation. However, we noticed a disappointing decline since last summer. My husband's prime rib, which he ordered rare, came well done. Our excellent server cheerfully took it away and brought him another one which was cooked correctly but was unusually fatty. My baked potato soup came with a skim on the top like it had been sitting around a while. We gave it another try on our last night at the beach. I did not want to get ribs again so got a tenderloin/fried shrimp entree. The meat was overcooked and the shrimp were soggy, and the garlic seems to be gone from the creamed spinach. I write this review in hopes that this restaurant does not just continue to coast on its popularity but maintains attention to detail and good food.

Review: This was our first visit to Myrtle beach. We loved the this restaurant. We loved it so much that we went back twice on the same day. The chicken salad with the bacon and honey mustard dressing was awesome. My husband had the chicken sandwich and mashed potatoes that were awesome. Our server was excellent. He made wonderful reccomendations. Lastly, the KEY LIME PIE. My Oh MY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome... Would definitely go back.

Review: By far Carolina Roadhouse is the best restaurant in Myrtle! A few "MUST's" to try...... 1. Every salad comes with a honey buttered croissant, one is simply not enough, order a basket as an appetizer! 2. They have the best dressings, House is a hot bacon honey mustard.....awesome blue cheese, and their ranch had chopped up egg in it which was awesome. 3. My husband loves the ribs, He say's the meat falls right off the bone. 4. The creamed spinich is so wonderful. My favorite. We will be back!

Review: Our favorite place to go when on vacation in Myrtle Beach. Took my brother's family there since they have never been before. They enjoyed it and everybody liked their food. My husband and I have been there several times and he thought the food had changed. (for the bad) He ordered the ribs and they didn't taste as good as before. The prices also went up. We will return, however since my husband likes the atmosphere.

Review: I noticed some had complaints as well as compliments. With most places you will get both. As for my experience, nothing but the best. From the time we walked in to the time we left, it felt like dinner at home with family and friends. Are server was amazing, from the minute he greeted my party he became a part of the group. We even met his parents who sat next to us. Those croissants are to die for. I've never tasted any thing like them, seriously, those along with the house salad was a great beginning to an incredible evening. The filet mignon was the best I've ever had. The decor was very nice, I don't remember the music being loud, or that any at all was playing. The atmosphere was exactly what I look for in an evening out. Not to take away from the group I was with though. The company you keep goes along way to the kind of time you have. I was lucky enough to experience such an amazing time along side several U.S. Army Soldiers.

Review: Everything is always excellent here. Call ahead so you don't have to wait. They don't take reservations but they will put you on a list so you don't have to wait once you get there. Our favorites are the ribs, gumbo, baked potato soup, salads, fish platters and the key lime and NY cheesecake (flown in from Carnagie Deli in NY!) You won't be disappointed!

Review: One of the very best at the beach. The potato soup is extra special. A dieter can order the salmon salad and never deviate from his/her plan! Try the pina colada for a creamy treat. The house salad with house dressing is superior. Best place for ribs.

Review: We have been to this restaurant many times in the past 10 years - we were extremely disappointed- we felt like the food was being thrown at us - my husbands second steak (the first was sent back as it was too well cooked) was tough and had no flavour - very bad dining experience and we will not return. Our over all impression was that the restaurant felt that they did not have to impress our group since they could rely on their past laurels as a quality establishment. We have recommended this place in the past but would now caution those who think this is the same quality restaurant. Not even close!!!!!

Review: The Carolina Roadhouse has always been a must for us each year when we visit Myrtle Beach. While we've found other places for great steaks on the strand, the Carolina Roadhouse's salad is like no other. The food quality from year to year never changes, always very good. One other thing that never seems to change though, is the indifference and unfriendless of most of the staff, especially the hosting staff. We are blown away by the way the host/hostess usually seems annoyed that they have to seat us! Never a smile or even a "hello". We notice this year after year. At the Carolina Roadhouse, customers aren't greeted at all, let alone made to feel welcome. The wait staff who takes our order is usually very friendly and helpful. However, the food is usually served by somebody else. This year our food was abruptly "plunked" down in front of us. I felt like it was thrown at us. On this trip, we made it a point to try several new restaurants, and found some where the food was as good as Carolina Roadhouse, and we were actually greeted when we came in the door. I don't know if Carolina Roadhouse will be on our "must" list in the future.

Review: We had a party of 5 adults and 2 children. We had the Ribs they were very good, and meaty. One member had the New York Strip he liked his steak as well. The House Salad dressing is to die for one of the reasons I like to eat there. Our waiter was a bit slow, but we enjoyed our dinner, and plan on going back next year.

Review: We ate at the Carolina Roadhouse during our vacation to Myrtle Beach. We were seated in a reasonable amount of time - average for this time of year in MB. I ordered the ribs, and my wife had chicken strips. The waiter was nice, and prompt. My ribs were overcooked on the back side to the point they were black. They tasted bitter because of this. My wife said her chicken was ordinary. We were both expecting better, since we had been here before and liked it then. Overall the value for the money was average, however who wants a decent price for ribs if they are overcooked and dry? The restaurant was noisy and very busy. The waitstaff appeared to be short in number. The hallway between the front and back enterance was so crowded with people that you could not hardly move through it.

Review: We were blown away by the Roadhouse. For us, it was one of those places where every single thing served was amazing- even the creamed spinach was something special. I ordered filet medallions and fried shrimp- the medallions were a perfect medium rare and almost an inch thick even though each was only 3 oz- you aren't compromising anything!

The shrimp were excellent and accompanied by some unexpectedly amazing hushpuppies (normally, I don't even care for them). Oh, and their salads, which are fairly large, are served with homemade croissants that melt in your mouth.

My boyfriend ordered ribs and loved every bite. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive both at the bar and the table. Portion sizes are huge- we spent 50 bucks and left stuffed with plenty of food in our doggy bags for the next day.

We will be back next year for sure. What a great restaurant!

Review: There is a good reason why this place is noisy and can frequently require a long wait? We have been here several times and have had consistently good food and service. The croissants melt in your mouth, the house dressing tastes much like the old Pennsylvania Dutch hot bacon dressing and the Shrimp Evil Jungle Prince's peppery etouffe sauce leaves you feeling warm all over.

My wife's filet medallions were prepared to perfection and the hush puppies were excellent.

This has become one of our "must visit" places whenever we are in town.

Review: We tried Carolina Roadhouse for the first time last summer and couldn't wait to eat there again this year. We were very disappointed with our second visit. We used call ahead seating and were seated when they said we would be ( a plus) however our server was not very attentive and when our food was brought to the table it was literally thrown down. I asked for some extra salad dressing for the salad and had to ask two more times before I ever got it. We had to ask for refills and then wait a long time for them also. The steaks were just so-so. We probably won't return again.

Review: We ate at the Carolina Roadhouse two years ago and were not impressed. We decided to give it a second try on our recent trip to Myrtle Beach (July 13-19). The food this time was very good. My son loved his steak and my husbands and my seafood was very good. My husband also had the gumbo soup and he loved it. We called ahead for seating and sat down within a few minutes. This was great since my other son, wife, and 15 month granddaughter were with us. We will be going there again next year.

Review: Hey, Greenville, SC. Here's a clue . . . Go back, but don't order the PR. This is by far one of THE BEST in or around Myrtle Beach. Best bar "bar" none. There is a wait for seating, but thanks for the hint about the call ahead. The wait, however, is worth it :-)

Review: I'll let everybody in on a little secret. The Carolina Roadhouse has call ahead seating! It's almost as good as making a reservation. I loved the Carolina Roadhouse. Beautiful restaurant, great food and resonable prices. You must try the salad with the house dressing (honey/mustard). Outstanding! Probably the best salad I've ever had. My kids could have eaten a basket of dinner rolls and nothing else. They are that good! Great chicken ribs and steak.

Review: Top five on the strand everyear. All of the Divine's places are good, but this is the exception. I've been there several times and never dissapointed. My cousin had the blackened grouper and I tried the prime rib (prop. cut) for the first time, AWESOME!!!! I will return. The waiter was very knowledgable as my company travels the world and is a tough critic. Maybe be a wait though, but that shows the quality. I suggest u go before 5PM or after 9PM. Great bar and great atmosphere. Very clean with any open kitchen. May run smoother without the highschool girsls running the front end, but they do alright.

Review: My family and I have been enjoying the Carolina Roadhouse at least twice a year for several years now and have never experienced a bad meal. This is truly one restaurant that we refuse to leave off the list when we visit the area. The food is outstanding and the portions are large. All menu items are priced below what you would pay at other restaurants in the area. The inside of the restaurant is impressive with the wood and show kitchen. I believe the noise level matches the atmosphere of the Carolina Roadhouse. Great place, hands down!!!

Review: It's a must visit for my wife. We love the prime rib. The salads are well prepared and the glazed croissants are great. You typically have a wait but they do have call ahead seating to shorten it. The last visit I tried the chicken finger platter. It was very good. Large portions. Nice atmosphere. Always busy.

Review: Carolina Roadhouse, CR, has always been our TOP priority restaurant to dine at...year after year. On our most recent visit, we had a party of 10. The staff was very accomidating in getting us seated near each other. This year we are bringing all 6 kids. I made the suggestion we save the roadhouse for our quiet get away meal. She quickly let me know that all of the kids, ages 16 down to 5, always looked forward, and enjoyed the CR. Guess we are taking them all.

Even if you are going for the early-bird time frame, expect a wait. This can easily be handled as they do offer call ahead seating....ya just gotta do it!

All of us rant and rave about the rolls and the salads. Very good. The prime rib and any of the steaks are sure winners.

We have NEVER been disappointed in any manner and this is the one place you have to go to!!

Review: Great salads and bread. The dressings are very SPECIAL in their own way. There is a large bar if you have to wait for a table and the prices are decent for the generous portions. The prime rib and chicken dishes are AWSOME! I've been there three times and have yet to have a complaint! The location is very conveinent if you are anywhere between Surfside Beach and North Myrtle Beach. Very clean!

Review: The food is very good there, the salad is incredible and the honey croissants are the best. Have ordered ribs that were great (so tender) and the steaks too have been very good. Review: We ate a late lunch (4pm) at Carolina Roadhouse yesterday, ordering two appetizers each instead of an entree. The homemade chili was totally delicious, as were the fresh baked croissants and pound of chicken wings. Service was very good by an attentive waiter. Piped in music was a little loud but still tolerable. Room temperate was a bit chilly for this time of year.
