Review: We had fried flounder and it was the best we have ever eaten. The atmosphere was so casual we wanted to stay the rest of the afternoon...but then we might not have gotten back to our condo. We will make Captain Poos our always stop when in Myrtle Beach. Everyone was so happy..customers and employees. Prices were great. Weather was perfect for eating on the porch.

Review: Great food, noise level was too high to be able to hear dining companions, service was below poor. Had crab legs (great) and wings (okay). Waitress pretty much ignored our table. We had to ask for check, then waited 10 minutes for her to return to take money, which she never did. We had to stand at the bar to pay, which was not a hardship, but our friends that had to sit at another table had paid and were outside waiting for us (98 degree temperature). Will go back, but will make a point to go when it is cooler so we can sit outside.

Review: We are locals and we LOVE Poo's. It is our favorite restaurant and bar. Great food, drinks and service. The owners, Mike and Rhonda, are friendly and work very hard to see that the food is great as well as fairly priced! We like Poo's on the South end but the one in NMB is our favorite hangout!

Review: Fourth time to Myrtle Beach to play golf. Found this place purely by accident. A friend and I were around the corner staying in the Hampton Inn. We went out looking for a place to have acouple of drinks. We stayed until closing. We had a blast, and it's a good thing we could walk back to our hotel. Dusty Stanton is a terrific guitarist he can play anything.

Review: Wonderful place to go , food specials on Tuesday and Thursday - free fish fry on Sat and some of the coldest beer on this beach! I must mention the live music at least 4 days a week! no cover charge ever and the staff is the best. The view of the ICW is amazing . Try the seafood boil, one of Poo's best kept secrets , ask for it . The seafood is always fresh and they will cook it your way. Visit with the locals and enjoy yourself

Review: I was on a motorcycle trip with some friends and just happened to stumble across this place while in town for a couple days. We rolled in right before a thunderstorm hit to grab a quick bite to eat and ended up spending the better part of 4hrs enjoying the incredible food, wonderful staff and service, and the relaxing local atmosphere. The seafood was some of the freshest I've ever eaten. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. Will definitely be going back any time I'm in the area

Review: Captan Poo's was recommended by our real estate agent for it's flounder sandwich lunch special on Friday's. We took friends there during bike week & had some of the freshest, most delicious seafood you can find on the beach. If you want the Friday lunch special you better get there early.

Review: What a fun place!!! Although I have a vacation home on the south end of myrtle beach (garden city) I always plan a trip to Poo's every time I'm down. It's worth the drive. Try the fried green beans, they are really good. Also the burgers are to die for. Bike weeks (spring & fall) are a blast. One of my favorite places at the beach.

Review: A great place to relax and meet the locals. Tuesdays they have happy hour with 25 cent tacos (good ones) and 25 cent wings. Very busy, pretty loud, not a place to take the kids. Amazing service for the number of people around that bar!!!

Review: Been going to Poo's for years. Lately the table service leaves a lot to be desired...think I will go back to the bar stools, at least there I can get ice if the draft isn't cool enough and the bartender never forgets you.

Review: Captain poos is probably one of my favorite places to go with my dad who is 60, I am 19. We go with our friends who live in n. Myrtle and have a blast. On thursdays the .10 cent wings and oysters are amazing always cold beer and soda.. They enjoy having designated drivers and the music is always good. Accomodations can get tight sometimes but thats means they are doing what they do best.. Feed and entertain the patrons! hint on the happy hour.. Get there early like around 4 or 5 for decent seating. Food is always amazing the servers and bartenders are always nice and can take a joke or two. I give poos a a+++ on everything.. Love you guys! .

Review: We like Capt. Poohs for happy hour. You can't beat the crab leg special on Thursday nights. The bartenders are always friendly as are the waitresses. I would not order the crab cakes which heavily breaded and deep fried. Other entrees were just okay. This is more of a locals place who enjoy talking to tourists! During the summer you can sit outside (under cover) and enjoy the waterway.

Review: I noticed that Captain Poo's is listed under the Cherry Grove section, as well. Here's my review under that section: We enjoyed a visit to Captain Poo's last summer. They were advertising $.25 wings, $.25 shrimp, and $4.99 1/2 lb of crab legs for their Thursday Happy Hour. We brought our kids and had a great meal at a great price. I can see where this is a "locals" hangout, but there were other families there with their kids. Our son (14) said that the wings were awesome! My wife and I enjoyed the shrimp and crablegs. It was a very hot day and it was warm, crowded, and loud inside, but we enjoyed ourselves. If we didn't have the kids with us, we would have gone to the outside bar. That looked like a GREAT place to be, and it was a little cooler out there. But like I said, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere and really thought the prices were great. We'll be back again this year.
