My family just experienced the best buffet we have ever had. We were planning to order ala cart dinners since we are not usually the buffet type, but changed our minds when we walked through the buffet area. This was like no other buffet we had seen. The food is upscale cuisine. We had chicken Marsala, a pork dish that was outstanding, and the guys went for the Prime Rib and Stuffed Cabbage. It was great. I noticed their 100 score health inspection rating popsted at the door and I can tell they earned it if the kitchen is anything as clean as the dining area. Great value at only $18 for all you can eat. Try the brownies for dessert. Our server James was the greatest.

We ate here last year and had a great dinner. They have reopened again after closing for the the winter and was surprised they now added an all you can eat buffet. All four of us went for the buffet. The food was excellent and much more upscale than other buffets we have sampled in the area. They have crab legs and prime rib like most buffets, but we were suprised to see stuff like stuffed cabbage, chicken marsala, flounder, tuna and more on the buffet. The salad bar is excellent and included in the buffet. The restaurant is still georgous and we all left stuffed and satisfied. We were in and out in less than an hour. Great for only $18.95.

We chose this restaurant by chance since I trained at the Coast Guard facility in Cape May New Jersey many years ago. My wife and I had the best seafood we have ever eaten. The restaurant is clean and beautiful and since the seats are not all jammed together, it felt spacious and very comfortable. I had the bacon wrapped scallops for an appitizer, and the lighthouse platter. My wife had the shrimp platter and with two glasses of wine the bill was only $48.00. We had a 25% off coupon from the newspaper. Our server Justin was terriffic. We visit Litchfield several times a year and will certainly return. This was what I call "real seafood". Rewccomend Cape May restaurasnt to all.

We went to this restaurant Labor Day Weekend after reading the excellent reviews on this and other web sites. We were not dissapointed. The entrance makes you feel like you are entering a mansion. There is a fountain with a fire in the middle. It made for a great Kodac moment. The inside is beautiful. It looked like the dinner would be very expensive by the beautiful decorum which the murials and high bar ceiling made us feel we were eating outside. Turns out our first class dinner was less expensive than a shack we had dinner at just down the street the night before. We had seafood platters and prime rib steaks. The drink prices were very reasonable and the kids loved the mac and cheese they serve. Cape May restaurant was the dining highlight of our vacation we will not soon forget. I reccommend it to anyone and we will certainly return next month during our next planned trip to Myrtle Beach. All 6 of us were dressed casual which was a concern, but we all fit right in. The piano player was also fabulous. Good job !! Wish we had a restaurant like this back home.

We had dinner here Tuesday, a group of 6 of us. The waiter was excellent. Explained the menu and specials in detail and we took some of his reccomendations. My husband was set on eating Italian and had pasta with shrimp. The rest of us had seafood. The food was excellent. Like nothing else we have had in Murrells Inlet before and we have lived in Myrtle Beach for 17 years. We were told the restaurant is only 8 months old and we were all impressed that they did it right when they designed this one. It looks upscale but the atmosphere is very relaxed. The prices were surprisingly cheaper than two different restaurants we visited earliier and got REAL food, not seafood stuck on a piece of bread. The manager came to our table to insure we were all happy. That was a nice touch We truly enjoyed this restaurant and highly reccomend it to anyone. We will ceretainly come back.

It was like an experience on Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen nightmares or Hell's kitchen. Poor service, poor food, poor timing. We waited for an hour to get our 3 meals. They were cold and not very good. We will never go to that resturant again. It should close. Many of the items on the menu they were out of at the beginning of the dinner hour..

This is a beautiful restaurant with friendly service and excellent food. Certainly different than other Murrells Inlet Restaurants which is what brought us here. We had the prime rib and my husband had a seafood platter. Everything was excellent and we would highly reccommend Cape May to anyone. I have a special family occasion coming up next March and plan to try and book it for here. Ask for Christy. She did a great job making us all feel like family.

We went to this restaurant after reading excellent reviews on this web site. Although the setting and the atmosphere were nice, everything else was inconsistent. We were seated immediately- the restaurant was less than half full on a Thurs. night . We had a waiter who tried very hard to please us. The manager came over after hearing we came based on internet reviews. He recommended prime rib and crab cakes which my husband ordered. Our appetizers( clams on half shell and bacon wrapped scallops) were very good but came out at 10 min. intervals. My King crab legs were delicious. My husband's prime rib was thin and fatty. The crab cake was burnt. Vegetables were mediocre- potatoes were cold, veg. medley was almost raw instead of steamed. When the manager again came over to ask how things were, my husband told the truth about his dinner. No apology was made. We drove 1/2 hr. from North Myrtle Beach. This was an expensive dinner which was not worth the money or the drive. There are other nice restaurants which you can count on.

When I visit a restaurant I expect service with a smile, good food and a reasonable price. Rarely do I get all of these. We got all of this and more at Cape May Restaurant. We ordered the surf and turf which included a lobster tail, the Captains Plank which was loaded with all kinds of seafood, the shrimp platter and an Italian dish of Pasta with shrimp, and I forget what the rest of my family ordered. It was all excellent. And to think this was my first time here. We are locals and will come back again. The bill for 8 of us was less than $150.00 which included draft beer and two bottles of wine. I highly advise all to give this one a try.

Food is average at best, veggies and mashed potatoes were cold and had no flavor. The service was not hospitality driven. There was no background music and the place was nearly empty. The prices were reasonable, but if the food is not cooked correctly, does it matter? Yes, we were sat right away. What noise level? Oh yea, I could hear the TV in bar just fine from my table in the dining room. Good luck..your going to need it to get through the off season!

A friend of mine had dinner here and raved about the place. I never knew where it was but my wife and daughter and I made it there Sunday night. They had a band outside so we sat in their outside seating area. This place is as good as my buddy said, and more. Large seafood selections. I had the captains plank and as a big eater, I left the place full. We will certainly re visit this place. We were all very happy customers.

We tried it because it is close to our home and is fairly new-The server was disoriented and we ended up with 2 servers. I ordered fish and it was frozen in the center (we did not pay for it) my husbands dinner came before his salad arrived- We had to ask for bread and refills on drinks were non existent. Loved the piano player The alcoholic drinks were less at the table than at the "Happy Hour' bar Beware-- and take a chance your service will be better- WE WILL NOT GO BACK AGAIN

We were seated immediatly. This place is not to be missed. There were 6 of us and the service was excerllent. We actually left thinking we would look at two other restaurants. We are so glad we returned. This may be the only Murrells Inlet restaurant that offers both Seafood, steaks and Italian food. It was a gveat place to eat. It was my sons birthday and the service was extra special. They made us feel we were the only people there. The outside fountain and fire pit made an excellent place for pictures. We will return next year. I only wish we knew of this place at the beginning of our vacation.

We have just arrived back from what was the worst dinner I have ever eaten at a restaurant or otherwise. 6 different items you were out of including milk, Captain Morgan, Mashed potatoes. My wifes red snapper was not a) red snapper and B)was over cooked more than I would think possible in a restaurant, inedible. My Seafood platter was so salty it was unbearable. The manager was not accommodating and while he did take the inedible Red Snapper and 20% of the bill, he did not discount the drinks of which we had several due to the long wait for out food, what he did in effect was discount horrible food which was left uneaten by our party. Over all the service was horrible, the food worse, the manager was a bold faced liar while trying to explain the problems away.

It was great to find a place that wasnt one of those gross and dirty buffets or places that focus on quantity rather that quality. Appitisers were grea! try the mussells. The raw bar was cheap and very good. We had oysters, raw and steemed. The Chicken Scallopini was very good. Wonderful atmosphere! Great Place!

Chose this restaurant based upon the reviews. Disappointed to say the least- three adults- one child. They had NO bread- claimed that they burned the bread and made no attempt to make good on the bill even after I asked the manager. The wait staff was good. My crabcakes with the garlic potatoes and veg medley was above average- the salmon and flounder dinners of the other two adults was just average. Portion quality was just right. Pricing in line with the rest of the places in Murrells Inlet. Will not return back.

Been comimg to Myrtle Beach for 15 years. My entire family enjoyed our experience here. This is the cleanest and most beautiful restaurant in the area. Our server told us this place is only six months old and I think they did it different and better than all of the other Inlet restaurants. You can get Italian food here as well. I have eated in almost all other Murrells Inlet restaurants that are all pretty much the sane. This is the crown jewel. Been there three times and will be back again. Loved it.

This place is beautiful and the cleanest restaurant I have ever patroned. Wish I got there earlier and did not have to wait 5 minutes to be seated, but everything else was worth the visit. Although there were not 30 seafood selections on the menu, all 6 of us found something great to eat. I suggest the Cape May Platter and my husband went for the prime rib. Good meal for the money. Very kid friendly as well.

We stumbled across this place on our way to another restaurant. What a surprise. The menu is a little different than most Murrells Inlet restaurants but thats what made it good. The place is beautiful inside and out. Great food and the prices low. One of us spilled a soda and they were at our table instantly to clean it up. That's why it is the cleanest restaurant I have ever been in in the area. We'll come back again.

Decided to give this new restaurant a try since a majority of the other restaurants in Murrells Inlet were packed. We were seated immediately - because there were only a handful of people there. The atmosphere was nice, but the food was awful. Not impressed with the menu. When our salads arrived (consisting of iceburg lettuce, some onions, cucumbers and tomatoes) it was brown, wilted and warm. The appetizer arrived late. Our waitress completely forgot to serve any dinner rolls. Hush puppies were burnt on the outside, raw on the inside. Tuna not cooked properly and did not taste fresh. Lasagna was cold. Presentation of food made you lose your appetite. Entree portion of meal was comped. Will never go back.

Can't believe this place has lasted long enough to make to this website. Nice place; however, that's the only nice thing I can say. Other parties walked out after not being served for an extremely long time. Our food arrived almost 3 hrs later, was incorrect and part of my order was raw. The only reason our party didn't walk out was because our meals were comped by the manager...and I guess many others were.

Our party of 4 (two guests to area for week) ate here for the first time 6/28. Took 45 minutes for food to be served after ordering. Salads consisted of brown lettuce with the usual accompaniments. One guest's fries were cold upon arrival. Manager agreed to have new order brought out, which took about 10 minutes. Another guest's "made from scratch" pasta was nothing more than frozen pasta with decent pasta sauce. He ordered the pasta with meatballs and was informed when plate was delivered that the kitchen was out of meatballs, instead of while dish was being prepared. Brought out side order of some broiled shrimp to replace the meatballs after most of the meal had been eaten. Scallops and very skimpy on the portions of seafood. Another guest's crab cakes, after we all tasted them, had no flavor at all, crab or otherwise. Overpriced for quality and serving portions. Very disappointed!

Great place. Finally a classy restaurant in Murrells Inlet with cheap prices. Got seated immediatly, food was great and very affordable. The place is georgous and we all felt like we were comfortable. Excellent service. This is now our favorite place to eat.

Wait for food was long. Salad and then 5 minutes later came food, plus no apetizers came either. Food not too bad, but overcooked. They seemed under staffed.

Great 7 oz prime rib at a great price - $14. Good salad. We look for great blue cheese dressing and you have it! Delicious rolls. And Creme Brulee to die for!!!!

This is the most beautiful restaurant in Murrells Inlet, and maybe all of the Myrtle Beach area. The food and service was great. We had Prime rib, 2 Cape May Platters and Pasta with shrimp. The kids meals came early which was great. Our server was Kenny and was completely professional. I remember the prime rib was only $14. We will be back on our next trip. Loved the experience.

It was just terrible. There simply was not anything right about the evening. Drinks, not made right. Food orders not correct. 2-1/2 hour wait for dinner, but they did bring us soup, etc. that wasn't ordered and we ended up not having to pay for anything. That still was not an excuse, because there was no adequate explanation. People walked out. Everyone was laughing.
