New chef "Jim" is originally from crab country Maryland. His crab cakes and soups are about the best you'll find in the grand strand. Of course the chicken wings and burgers are still among the best in the area as well. The price is right and the portions are generous. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They have a "VIP" card that you can purchase that runs annually which saves you 15 percent on all purchases thru out the year, very good deal especially if your a local!

Recently I passed Calli Bakers and then returned for dinner upon seeing the signs that they had a new menu and live music. The music was great (a lot of old school/ classic rock). The service was great; the bartenders more than willing to chat between filling orders. I found the menu had a nice variety of seafood, pastas, and grilled items... though I have to admit my favorite thing was the pound of snow crab legs... It seemed like a large portion for the price; and I look forward to taking my son there when he gets out of school for the summer so we can share this seafood combo platter they have... I think I have a new favorite restaurant at the beach now...

We had high hopes for the new location. What a disappointment. The table and chairs were dirty. Food was bland.

This place is no longer on Lake Arrowhead Road. It has moved to a bigger location on Hgwy 17 just adjacent to the old Colonial Mall

This is one of if not the best place to eat in Myrtle Beach. The food is excellent big portions of food is served. The menu says you get 4 cheesesticks it doesnt sound like a good deal but they were huge and very good. The staff is very helpfull and you never have to ask for a refill they just bring it. The atmosphere is awesome especially if you are a firefighter but even if your not its still a cool place to come in and hang out. Its definently worth the money me and my wife ate there for $30.00 and took alot back to the motel.so to sum it up this is one of the best places ive ever eaten at..

If you are in the Fire Service, this is the place to go. Tons of great memorabilia and decor regarding fire service. Has a very low key "local" flavor to it. Not your big tourist trap kind of place.

Trashy grounds, garbage all around. Its a shame, it used to be a really nice place up until about a year ago. The firefighter theme is wonderful.

One of the friendliest places that I have ever been in. I felt like one of their regular customers within a few minutes. Good bargains on foods and great choice of appetizers..

Although I didn't eat while I was there, I can say I can't wait for my next trip to myrtle beach just so I can go back and visit jack and his crew at callie bakers. I was with a large group from hamilton ohio some 700 miles away and could not have been treated more like I was at home than if I really was. Thanks for everything jack, glad we could finish off that keg for you !.

Great place to hang out. Wonderful karaoke system with a wonderful host. They have great bar staff. one bar person in particular (lari) is very hospitable and makes the visit worthwhile. Ask her to sing!
