Review: My husband and I have been to this unassuming restaurant many times. When friends come to visit this is where we take them. We are seated quickly and served promptly. The steaks here beat anything you can find in Myrtle Beach. The seafood is excellent and you have the option of having it fried or broiled. A particular favorite is Grouper florentine. The staff is part of what makes this such a great place to come. If you listen to how they interact with their customers you will quickly catch on that they have the some people coming year after year from as far away as Wisconsin.

Review: The Calabash Tavern and Steakhouse is a great place to kickback, relax and enjoy a great meal and friendly service. The food was delicious and the timing of the courses excellent. I hate to be rushed and I hate to wait too long. It has a southern quiet atmosphere with New York caliber of food at a reasonable cost. I look forward to going back the next time I am on the Carolina coast.

Review: Great steaks, excellent ribs, fine pastas and for the not so hungry great sandwiches -- especially hot roast beef and sausage and peppers. Caters to all, from the early bird dining to late night snacks (kitchen is open to 9 p.m. nightly -- sometimes later during the summer. Occasional entertainment. It's NOT fine dining, it's fine food.

Review: If you want great steaks and seafood cooked to perfection, then check this place out, it is superb! The people are friendly and curtiously professional, the food exquisit and the atmosphere excellent. The prices are below what you'ld expect from a restaurant of this quality! I've been to quite a few restaurants in the area and recommend this location above all others in the catagory of selections served. I myself am a trained chef and couldn't ask for a better quality dining experience! Keep up the good work. My hat's off to all of you involved.

Review: This restaurant doesn't look like a big thing from the outside but don't let the looks push you away. The food in this restaurant is the best. I have worked for restaurants for 34 years and I will tell you, If you want to try to go into a restaurant to complain about even one little thing don't go to this one because you won't find anything wrong. GREAT JOB AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK........
