We ordered ginger chicken sizzler, which was best. The chicken is soft and with very little oil. The food is priced at a decent price. The staff were very courteous. There were lot of people ( may be because of July 4th). But, recommend to call and reserve table. Overall, good experience.

We went to Bombay for my son's High School graduation with a party of ten. We were seated promptly and treated perfectly! Our waiter was quite attentive and extremely helpful. The Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Chops, and a wonderful salmon dish (which I have forgotten the name) was incredible with large chunks of fish seasoned perfectly and prepared Tandori style was amazing! The Naan bread was delicious and like all of the other dishes were very authentic. Our family is from NY originally and we have always enjoyed Indian food and this was as good as any we have had! We arrived at 5:45 and left at 10pm! Great Experience!!!

Me & my husband moved here from NJ 5 years ago. There are places in NJ where u feel like , you are in India. We came to this place before ,and after the present owner came in 2009. This is the best. It's their 1st business and they are making progress on everything. they got their AC fixed now. the food ,service, atmosphere & value is excellent from the beganing. They make their own PANEER, YOGURT & THE BREADS.L..o..v..e it... Go support your local so you could enjoy the GREAT INDIAN FOOD.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the food. We used a restaurant.com coupon so we could try more menu items. The waiter asked if we would like a "side of spinich" and we said yes. We also weren't sure how hot (spicy) they made their food, so he recommended a side sauce of spicy curry so we could make it hot to our liking. When we got the bill, these two upsales cost us $20... $12 for the "side of spinich" and $9 for sauce! I'm not kidding. So unfortunately a good meal that should have been relatively cheap got expensive quickly. Kind of a racket!

I was very impressed with this resturaunt! My husband and I love Indian food and we loved it here! More impressive was that we called and asked what time they closed and the man said 9:30 and we said we couldn't be there until 9:35 and they stayed open just for us! I love the chicken tiki masala and we got a lamb dish that was amazing! I am so excited to go back and eat there again!!

This place has great food! We ordered 2 Chicken Korma, garlic Naan and a plain Naan. We got our food carry out so I could not give an excellent on noise level, atmosphere or length of time to be seated but we had to wait only an extra 5 minutes for our order and we received a free dessert for our time. It was good as well. My husband is British and is used to getting good curries and he said it was good. I've only had a few in my life and I liked that they could make my Korma mild b/c I'm a lightweight when it comes to spice. The brochure says they deliver but they no longer do. But it is very much worth the time to go get it. Also, the portions for carry out were huge! I ate 3 times on mine and hubby ate twice. It was 12.95 each and it came with rice. Give this place a try! Let's support good service and great food b/c there are way too many under par restaurants in Myrtle Beach.

We were getting tired of seafood and regular restaurants and just wanted to try something different. We decided to try Indian Cuisine for the first time. I thought of trying it many times before, but was afraid it might be too spicy or that I just wouldn’t like it. We picked this Restaurant because of the good reviews. So glad we did. Upon arrival we were seated immediately. Marshall was our waiter and we told him we had no idea what to order since we had never been to an Indian restaurant before. He helped all four of us order everything. He was patient, funny, kind, and just wonderful. He even offered to have some dishes specially made for us. The food was prepared fresh and came to our table piping hot and delicious. What an experience! The food, the Service, the Atmosphere was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and eat there again. We all loved it.

This was our first experience with Indian food. We were seated immediately by a very friendly and pleasant waiter. We explained to him that we had never had Indian food if he would be so kind as to make some suggestions. He suggested samosas for appetizers, a chicken & shrimp dish, white rice with another chicken dish in a curry sauce, a flat bread, and a mango drink. We were very pleased with his selections. The food was very good, although a bit spicey, but we still enjoyed it very much. The mango drink was very good. We would return, but this time we would like to try the buffet lunch. Rasa, the owner is a very pleasant and friendly gentleman. We wish him lots of luck with his business.

We went to this gem for lunch midweek. We always hit this restaurant during our annual vacation. As usual, the food was excellent. The restaurant offers a lunch buffet that is very good and reasonably priced. There was a variety of tasty chicken dishes such as Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Korma. The vegetable curry dishes were also very good. Samosas were also on the buffet the day we went. My wife had a mango lassi that was as good as any she ever had. We love Indian food and are very happy this restaurant is in the area. The owner is a very kind and friendly gentleman who went out of his way to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who likes Indian food or anybody who wants to try something a little different.

Sep 7'10. the WORST ever restaurant offering Indian cuisine I've ever found in US. the taste of most of (almost all of )the menu items served for the weekend buffet was aweful, nothing could taste good, moreover the service was at its worst. they are short of staff to take care of their guests making the service quality extremely poor but they have taken a good care to charge the pricing of the menu as high as possible! the sunday buffet was charged for $12.99 & the quality & choice offered was the poorest one ever! but unforunately those (who love indian cuisine )visiting this part of the Myrtle Beach have no choice as there are no other indian restaurants in the neighborhood (the other one-"kabab & curry"seems to have closed business) it is worth to try other restaurants instead of spending waste at this BAQWAAS rest. with poor service & quality.

We were very pleased to find this Indian restaurant in Myrtle Beach. Our GPS had located only one in the area and it had gone out of business. We learned about this one by asking a stranger, who happened to be friends with the owner and gave us directions. We arrived at 2:30 and they close at 3PM, to reopen at 5PM for dinner. We didn't know that and had to eat quickly. The buffet was great. Our waiter was very nice. We will definitely return if we are in the area again.

We moved to MB last summer and were super excited to find an Indian restaurant here, amid all of the over-priced tourist traps. The food is EXCELLENT, some of the BEST Indian I've ever had... The prices are good for the amount of food you get and the owner is very, very nice. We have always gotten excellent service and we eat here as much as possible. The only complaint I have with the restaurant is that they do not have Indian beer on their drink menu...that is truly the only thing that would make the restaurant better.

This place gets a "5" for quality of food served, because if you really like Indian food, and find yourself needing a garam masala fix while in Myrtle beach, this is your only place in town. Unfortunately, the only places that seem to be successful here are chinese buffets, calabash "style" fried food buffets, and a few Italian places. (and dozens of Mexican places, all working from the same standard menu) This place has really really good food. The lunch buffet is well worth it. Or, if you are staying in one of the places on Ocean Blvd., get some to go Indian food, and enjoy it while drinking a cold beer and looking out over the ocean. The rest of the buffet is excellent. The tastes are really satisfying, and the basmati rice is great. No dinner buffet, but great Indian food right here in Myrtle Beach! get there and enjoy it! Get over here and support the place!

over 12 years I eat indian food in many restaurants throughout US, this place is OK since its hard to find indian restaurant in Carolina beaches. I encountered an indian family sitting next to our table and were literally yelling and talking so loud they sounded very mannerless and I requested the owner to ask them to low their voices, instead he increased the volume of music in the restaurant which was horrid. The lights were very dim and difficult to identify what you are eating, why cant they illuminate with much brighter lights, I ordered garlic Nan and Samosa's, paneer butter masala, most them were made out of frozen food and nothing is being cooked there, why should anyone go to restaurant to eat forzen food, people without choice are made scape goats and have to eat what is served there, we are serving indian food and be greatful was the look in the owners eyes. Although the staff are very polite and welcoming, except this I dont think this restaurant will continue if they dont change the cooking from frozen food to natural cooking and lights from dim to high.

I love this place. I have eaten in and carried out. I've tried the buffet and various dishes on the menu. The food is excellent, and the service matched the food. This place has quickly become my favorite. They use great quality ingredients, and it is never too crowded or noisy. I would definately suggest everyone give it a try. My favorite dishes are the chicken korma or malia kofta; give those a try if you aren't sure what you want.

We travel A LOT and try Indian restaurants everywhere we go - we go to Myrtle Beach several times per year. The food at this restaurant is BY FAR the best quality Indian food that we have found anywhere. The spices used are fresh and perfect. The food is always consistent. The garlic nan is fantastic. The ambience is plain - just an ordinary place with good food. Normally, there aren't many customers in the restaurant, so there is very little staff. This can lead to issues when they get a large crowd unexpectedly. We had a problem with our take out order last night - they gave someone else our food & we would have ended up with the wrong order, too, if we hadn't checked it. The waiter apologized profusely, had our order re-made correctly, and gave us the entire wrong order in addition to our correct order (which actually allowed us to try some items we don't normally order - they were fantastic, too). While we did have to wait a long time because of the error & a big crowd in the restaurant last night, we were still impressed with the meal and will not let a 1 time problem deter us from returning.

The food as well as the service here is AMAZING. I have been to several countries around the world and it is so hard to find authenticity outside of origin. But Bombay had the perfect blend of spices. As soon as you walk into the building a warm welcoming spicy aroma is wafting through the air. The ambiance is amazing. It is one of my favorite places to dine with my boyfriend. I had the Shrimp Sizzler and it was honestly the best shrimp that I have ever had. For dessert I enjoyed the mango lassi. I would reccomend this place to anyone that enjoys good food.

We went to Bombay at the Beach in late August 2009. If we had to sum up the dining experience in one word, it would be phenomenal. We had the lunch buffet. The choices on the buffet were excellent and the food fresh and plentiful. The waiter also served fresh naan, which is always a plus. One other word of advice: Get the mango lassi! This may be the only Indian restaurant in Myrtle Beach, but it's a very good one and the prices were very reasonable.

We ate at Bombay a few days ago and enjoyed the experience. We are regulars, so we were disappointed to see that the prices were raised & the menu had changed. Granted some not by much, but they removed some of our favorite dishes & raised the price of one to $18. Again, the food & service are great...we just hate to see places we eat frequently change what was working.

My wife and I were only in Myrtle Beach for the weekend, but after finding Bombay at the Beach online and reading the reviews, we decided to try it out. I must say we were very impressed. We enjoyed a superb meal very quickly served and with attentive polite service. We also took out meals to some friends who weren't able to join us, and they too were impressed. Next time we visit Myrtle Beach we'll make a point of eating there again.

Out of this world I have eaten in a lot of indian restaurants but, this is the best. The lady who is the owner, she told me,her husband is the chef and he makes the cottege cheese and yogurt by himself.make sure you try the mango lassi.it's the mango and yogurt drink.then they have the chicken chop.i never had it anywhere.afterall my experience was excellent so,i'll tell others to go and try the food. It's really the best..

FANTASTIC!!! Was SO happy to find this Indian restaurant in Myrtle. We had come to one a few years back in this same location, but the last time we were here it was closed. I just happened to be driving by with my kids around dinner time looking for a place to eat and found this. The food is excellent; even better than our last visit! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food on the buffet was of nice variety and very fresh. Wonderful experience- we're going back today for lunch!!! Wish we had a place like this in New Bern, NC

Thank heavens, this location keeps coming back as Myrtle Beach's only Indian restaurant. Now on its third owner, a lady from New Jersey, fortunately it is better quality than ever. The somewhat rustic house converted to a restaurant is located conveniently on 17 Business just opposite one of the mini-golf centers, which gives an interesting tropical ambiance out the windows. It is generally fairly quiet, though sometimes frequented by big Indian families kids and all. The food is simply excellent - I hail from a big city and this place compares favorably with any of a dozen I have been to. Try any of the chicken curries and the lentil soup - they will spice everything to your tase (hot or mild). Service is friendly though not rushed so plan to take your time; they also do takeaway. No liquor license yet so you can BYO; good lassi and Indian tea available. I'm a regular here.

One of the best-kept secrets on the beach. The mango lassi is divine and their Sunday buffet is a great deal.
