Review: Great place for an afternoon cocktail. We have been there a couple of times for Sunday concerts and had a great time. Food used to be excellent, but we have noticed a big drop off in quality since we last had dinner there. The menu has changed in a good way, but the quality just isn't there anymore. I think they are using more frozen stuff these days. I'd stick with cocktails and eat before you go.

Review: We've visited the boathouse several times in the past two years with our most recent visit last week on june 25th. The interior area of the restaurant is quite open and includes a large bar area. It is a "bar and grill" so expect music playing inside. But the best aspect of the boathouse is their outdoor seating area along the intracoastal waterway. It's quite nice watching the activity on the water while eating a nice meal. The prices are not high at all for the quality of food, especially given the waterfront location. The food has been better than what I expected given the relatively low cost. And after eating, you can relax on one of the many adirondack chairs on the grass lawn along the waterway. There's also a walkway to a dock on the water. If you'd rather drink outside, they have a small bar area outside, also. We haven't been there yet on a sunday when they have live entertainment, so I can't comment on that. All in all, though, we've not had to wait to sit, the food is good and priced fairly, the people are friendly, the atmosphere is great and we will return. Don't hesitate to give this restaurant a try..

Review: The boathouse is a wonderful place to come and take a break from life... you can relax in the hammacks for in the lawn and have a few cocktails in the sun... they have a great happy hour with awesome drink specials and half off apps... and in the summer they have live bands from everywhere on sunday afternoons... its a great place to come and hang out and just enjoy life on the riverside.
