This restaurant is first class all the way - from the wait staff to the excellent chef, to the owner himself, there is no better place for dining than Bistro 90. Have been there many, many times and have never been disappointed. Always new surprises on the menu. My recent favorite is the almond encrusted tilapia with a balsamic honey reduction. So delicious. Get away from the chain restaurants and traffic on 17 and have a wonderful dining experience. You won't be disappointed.

We enjoy Bistro 90 every time we come to NMB - a short drive from where we stay, but worth it. Owner always visits our table and the food and service is consistently good.

I couldn't disagree more with the person that wrote a review about poor service. I'm a local and i've been to this restaurant several times. The service has always been up to par and the food is so delicious! This place will definitely surprise you. It's a little jewel that is worth the drive from Myrtle Beach.

A gourmet dinner On our way back from a trip to Conway (about 10-15 minutes from Rt. 17 in NMB) on HWY 90 we spied Bistro 90. We had heard from neighbors they had had a wonderful meal there so we decided to give it a try. The ambience is inviting,. The owner Roland Sciotto escorted us to our table and asked if this was our first visit. Upon confirming that, we were seated and we began to read the enticing menu. Our waitress arrived and asked for our drink order. The wine menu is impressive, but we opted for their drink specials of the day (bloody mary and mimosa). They arrived in a timely fashion and we enjoyed them while trying to choose our dinners. We finely decided on the Eggplant Parmesan and the Zuppa de Pesche. We were treated to a “tease” appetizer for “first time guests”. It was something I would not have ordered, a chicken pate. But it was excellent and I now WOULD order it. It was a chicken breast pate on a small round of toast with a pear glaze and a roasted red pepper. Delicious. While waiting for our meal we asked to see the lunch menu also. We have found many entrees we have to return to try for both lunch and dinner. I’m anxious to try one of their pizza specialties- the offerings sound scrumptious. I also definitely have to try the Orange Jalapeno Scallops and the Strombolis (Bistro Delight for me!). The salad was OK; lettuce, some tomato and a little carrot, dressings were good. Our meal arrived in a timely fashion (did I mention you can add, omit, or modify your entree as meals are cooked to order?) My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Eggplant parmesan and I savored my Zuppa de Pesce. I was able to omit the calamari, and I thought the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp, clams, etc in the delicious sauce were wonderful. We both wound up taking some of our generous sized meal home to enjoy again the next day. We had an appointment and could not stay to have dessert, but I’m sure I’ll save room next time for the chocolate raspberry one. Well worth the trip. We WILL return!

Excellent chef....very friendly owner, very focused and friendly wait staff. Favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach area. Pleasant drive for us from Surfside area so distance is not an issue. Well worth the visit, you will also feel it is the best in Myrtle Beach area. We are also originally from the the Nj/NY area and love the italian dishes but the menu is loaded with other great selections. Super atomosphere and decor as well.

Service is key and these guys have a lot to learn in that area. Food was good. But if the service is lacking, it ruins the whole experience. There are restaurants with better food and much better service in Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas. Seek them out and leave Bistro 90 off your list.

We are from NY and Italian. Bistro 90 was the highlight of our trip in August. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The service was amazing, food was delicious, and the atmosphere delightful. Can not recommend this eatery enough, it's that good!! Try the Bananas Foster Cheesecake for dessert, you will NOT be dissapointed. Seriously can not wait to return.

Went with a small group to Bistro 90 for a weekday lunch last month. A bit out of the way for us but well worth the trip. Excellent in all respects, with a great menu selection, wonderful food, and very good service. We'll all definitely go back any time.

I have eaten here five times in the last two months. The pasta dishes and bread are great. Better than many of the most popular in the Myrtle Beach Area. Stuffed shells are great, kids had the lasagna and said it was great. Cheesy bread appetizer is really good. The menu has much more to offer, with a lot of unique dishes, but I don't vary much on what I order. Not busy at lunch and the prices are cheaper. It's only a few minutes from anywhere in the myrtle beach area. I think it is sometime closed on Sundays.

The Bistro 90 is a perfect way to get away from the Rt 17 tourist food. Everything is made to order; just the way you want it. Their stuffed grouper & Bistro 90 chicken are both delicious. They even make their own yummy bread! Eat in the dining room or at the bar. You'll be made comfortable and instantly feel at home.

I'm from NY, of Italian descent and grew up with great Italian restaurants. This place is defintely gourmet from the wine to the food to the desserts! The best part is that at least for now, since it is in the middle of nowhere, it is one of the area's best kept secrets! You never have to wait for a table! I'm afraid that won't last for long - it's that good!

We have been going to MB for 20 years and we found Bistro 90 and had a fabulous experience. Their menu has something for everyone and reasonably priced. The wait staff was polite and quick to serve. Most important the FOOD was delicious, the chef did an excellent job in preperation and his presentation was like what you see at more expensive eateries. We definately will be returning, GREAT PLACE !

THE BEST....The facility is 1st class, well decorated and has a relaxing atmosphere. They have an excellent staff, a friendly owner and a DYNAMITE young Chef who always prepares us a delicious meal with outstanding presentation. They have a great menu selection at a reasonable price. Just minutes from Rt 17, we tell all our friends traveling from PA, this is a must stop.

Every year since 1985 12 of us go to Myrtle Beach for our men only golf vacation. We spend 7 day and nights playing golf, eating out and enjoying the Myrtle Beach night life. Each year we try new restaurants. This year we found Bistro 90 and it will become our last night farewell dinner choice from now on. The food was absolutly fabulous. (If they have the veal chop special go for it, you won't be sorry.) Made only better by the extremly efficient waitstaff and wonderfully capable barman. To top it off our table was visited by the owner himself a few times during the evening ensuring that we were pleased with all aspects of the dinner party. As I said, it took over 20 years but we found a gem.

We went for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. We tried a couple of the lunch specials and they were fantastic. We really could not complain about anything! The service was great and the dining area was beautifully decorated, the price was also very good. The most important thing was that the FOOD was superb! I recommend the creamy parm dressing, it was wonderful!! I will be sure to recommend this restaurant to others! There is also a few tables for outdoor dining for those cooler days or nights.
