Review: We went to Big Daddy's, Too on the strength of the recommendations on this site. We were not disappointed. All four of us ordered the Big Daddy's Combination Platter with different fried seafood. Everything was delicious. The price wasn't bad, either. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We only had to wait long enough for our tables to be bussed before we were seated. Big Daddy's, Too will become a Myrtle Beach tradition for us after tonight.
Don't forget to order the fried pickles, they're fantastic!

Review: As a local to Myrtle Beach, I really enjoy eating at Big Daddy's. My husband and I go there regularly. Can't wait for them to reopen for the season. What more can you ask for - good food, good prices, friendly people, and a fantastic view of the Ocean!

Review: We ate at Big Daddy's several time during our vacation. The corn dogs were still raw in the middle, hot dogs were average and the oysters, well.. I wouldn't suggest them. Big Daddy himself, very friendly. His son, on the other hand... very rude and seemed extremely stressed during a lunch visit. We ordered a few hamburgers w/ fries and onion rings and the orders were wrong. On the attempt to correct the burgers, they were still wrong and he got very defensive and began to "show himself". He really embarrassed us in front of all that were dining there. We asked for a refund in which he replied "I'm not refunding anything", walked off and attempted to correct the burgers again. We took the burgers back to the beach to eat and noticed they had scraped off the mustard and covered it with cheese. Needless to say, that will be our last trip there regardless of price and the quality of other food items on the menu.

Review: My family was ask to leave the restaurant because we came in the restaurant in a group. When we tried to sit we sat at a couple of tables a guy who worked there ask if we wanted to sit at a larger table. So we did. When the waitress came to our table she informed us that they would add 15% gratuity to our bill because there was 7 of us. So we went back to the two tables. The waitress was VERY rude and VERY unprofessional! Then as our drinks were served a man ask us to leave, no reason just leave. We did and realized that our son-n-law had left his cell phone so he went back to get it. When he ask for his phone the guy told him that tea had been spilled on it but it wasn't their fault. We all know that water and cell phones don't mix.
We know that its customary for gratuity, and we do tip. The thing is that there was two groups of people. Had we gotten to eat the waitress would have gotten more than 15%.
So as for this restaurant, cant say the food was good but can say that the service was terrible. This restaurant needs someone to show them how to be PROFESSIONAL AND COURTOIS to their PATRONS.

Review: I have been eating here for several years now. I have always had a great time chatting with the staff and Big Daddy himself. My hot dogs have been delicious each time and so has my porkchops and black eyed peas. The people are very friendly and likeable. To the gentleman below from Greenwood, you of all people should know that in the south we don't take the skin off of our fried fish. Its just like having skin on your fried chicken. You must have just been having a bad day...grrrrrr. My food has beed delicious. I've been going since they opened.

Review: This was the first place we ate at on our first trip to MB. It is on the beach. The seating outside on the deck is very limited, but we were able to get a table outside. The view was good and the food tasty. I had the shrimp basket. It was good and the hush puppies were surprisingly good too.

Review: The great beach\seedy atmosphere at Big Daddy's, coupled with the Atlantic Ocean, it is sure to please. Very reminisant of an era gone by... "old Myrtle Beach". We had an excellent cheeseburger\fries, many (I mean many) a good cold beer, chicken salad, mixed drinks-mixed to perfection, the breaded pickles-out of this world, and 2 kids meals. The prices are unbelieveably low for a vacation city. The servers are some of the best!
The question: Where to eat at Myrtle Beach?
The answer: Definately BIG DADDY'S TOO!!

Review: A good place to waste your money on a so called "meal". If this food were served to prisoners in jail, they would have just cause for a law suit. An the staff needs a lesson on treating customers!
Cheeseburger- over cooked, no flavor
fries- dry and hard
drink- not enough ice.
I will pick up a can of sardines at a quick mart before going here again!

Review: This place SUCKS! Beware of eating at this establishment. If you do, you may be accosted by the alledged "owner" of the pier. My group and I were bad-mouthed and berated by this "alledged" owner (who seemed to be somewhat intoxicated) after we expressed our opinion that nobody should need to pay the $1.00 per person fee that "he" required just to walk on "his" pier. He went into a rant and stated that it cost him 5 million dollars to build the pier. Not knowing the history of the pier and establishment, later that night, after showering off his hateful words, we looked up the history of what the "alledged" owner stated. To nobodies surprise, he did not build the establisment nor pier. Although it may be true that he (the "alledged" owner) has rebuilt it, due to inclement weather (i.e. hurricanes), he blatantly lied in front of us and our children and many others with his belicose fairy tales. Although the food was at best "average", it certainly wasn't worth either the money paid nor the abuse incurred by this "alledged" owner. We will never EVER come back to this abusive establishment which apparently condones business owners use of alcohol while during business hours.

Review: I read over the reviews before we posted ours. I just couldn`t believe the negative one. This was our first time there. The burgers were done just right and had an excellent taste. We had good service and will be back next year a few times. We had coupons but we will come again even without them. Thank you BIG DADDY'S TOO for the coupons. We stayed in NORTH Myrtle beach and wouldn't have known about this good restaurant if not for them.

Review: This is a great place to eat in Myrtle Beach. My wife, kids, and I dine there at least once on every visit to Myrtle Beach. The food is great, the prices are cheap, and the oceanside dining is fabulous. You can definitely pay more, but you won't get more for your money anywhere else in Myrtle Beach. Tell Big Daddy we said "Hello".

Review: This is a great place to eat and then to take a walk on the pier. My husband loves the hotdogs, the burgers are good and the shrimp is great, the only thing that is not good is the fried oysters. Mixed drinks are good and the prices are reasonable, we eat here at least two times each vacation, the teens in our group seem to realy like it too.

Review: We visited Big Daddy's Too a couple of times while staying at the Bermuda Sands hotel next door. On our first visit, the wife ordered the steak and shrimp, which she said was good, but not worth the $18.00+. Myself had a Cheeseburger basket w/fries.( $7.00+)
The cheeseburger was a joke. A thin, dry burger patty, with no flavor, and well over cooked. (Both were very small portions. Almost the size of a kids meal.)
Day two we decided to give their breakfast a try. (After all, it couldn't be worse than the lunch the day before.) WRONG! The toast and jelly was the best thing on the menu. We ordered the breakfast special. Eggs, grits, bacon and sausage and coffee. The coffee was pretty good, but the sausage and bacon had no flavor whatsoever. The bacon reminded me of cheap turkey bacon. The sausage was the same, with very little flavor. While paying, the guy at the register asked how everything was. After telling him about the bacon, he had a disgusted look on his face, and an attitude like "I dont really care". No thank you, I'm sorry....nothing! We will NEVER return to this overpriced, lousy food "restaurant". We both ordered steak, potato, soup and salad, etc from Shoneys a day later for 1/2 the price, and 200% better quality and service. We would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

Review: This is one of the absolute best places to eat at Myrtle Beach!! Very friendly people, clean restrooms, excellent food and a great value. You definitely get your money's worth. It has oceanfront dining & you can see a lot of the beach whether you eat inside or outside. WE loved this place & will return everytime we go to the beach!! Extremely pleased.
