Review: We had a restaurant.com coupon for Big Daddy's, and was hesitant to use it after reading previous reviews, but did go. We were very happy we did! Food (steak) was the best in a long while and wife's ribs were, as the menu said, "fall off the bone". Service byMelissa S was the best! Nice job M and a great place to eat in MB. We have added it to our list when we visit next time. With so many rest in MB, it has to be recommended! Very casual!

Review: The fellow with the fly was given a free meal. I am the manager and I was cooking. Sorry....wanted to get the food out to other customers. Sometimes you just cant win.

Review: This is a review of the restaurant located at 1610 S. Kings Hwy., Myrtle Beach, SC. We had an early dinner there on August 14, 2010, at 5:30 PM. I ordered the Margarita Special and Early Bird Chop Sirloin. My husband ordered the 16 ounce Ribeye and an iced tea. Without tax or tip, the total was $37.07. Our meals were horrible; plain and simple.
The Margarita Special was nothing special. It was made with some off-brand house tequila and cheap brand of margarita mix. Disgusting. The Early Bird Chop Sirloin was to be served with a sautéed mushroom sauce. First of all, the chop sirloin was so dry and overcooked, it was tough. It had no flavor at all. It was not served with any sauce. The sautéed mushrooms were served in a 1/4 cup side serving dish next to the sirloin. It looked and tasted like it was made from a powdered mix. This was so salty! I did not and could not eat it.
The Ribeye that my husband order was overcooked and tasteless. The french fries that were served with it: LIMP. I didn't even have to taste one of the fries to know they were revolting.
Stay away from this restaurant. There are plenty more to choose from. Even fast food would be better.

Review: Food was bad, found fly in my ice, the manager didn't have the courtesy to come and apologize for the fly. the server just said sorry! Hamburger for $9 with cold fries was not the ideal food! Do Not Try the Coleslaw!

Review: Big Daddy's Restaurant is a big dud
We stopped at this so called restaurant; we had trouble being seated,
The table was sticky and we had to clean it our selves (Using baby wipes)
My wife ordered a class of water and added some no sugar lemon
Mix because of health problems, the waitress told her to hide the drink
Because the managers son would be very angry for her adding things
To her drink. Without paying for it first, our food order was slow in coming
And on a scale from 1 to 10 the food was a (4) I asked for extra napkins on four
Different times with no response and finally had to use baby wipes because of eating ribs.
No refills on the drinks not even the water. This turned out being a very poor place to eat.
I left a 10% tip on the table and my daughter said dad they have already added an
18% Gratuity (tip) to the bill, we called the manager over to discuss the bill
Told him as you can see we have four adults and two small children (drinking baby milk)
He said the baby’s were taking up chair space that he could be making money on
He acted like someone had slapped him away from his table and was very belligerent
And smart mouthed and hinted if we did not want to pay the 18% tip it construed us not
Paying our bill, I’m a retired Deputy Sheriff and know the difference in paying your bill
And leaving a Tip and I also know the difference between white collar criminals.
Because of my son in law being a sergeant in our local police department and grabbing my arm because this smart mouth punk and I was going to make sure this punk he apologized to my family for his smart mouth and or else, I can tell the punk has spent time in jail. His philosophy is doing what I tell you or else you are going to be in big trouble.
I’m assuming they do not pay their help very well and expect the
18% tips on making up the difference?
This is our Family’s second time eating here (Our first and our last)
I would not recommend this place to any one
(Not even to my worst enemy)

Review: We been coming to myrtle Beach along time , We just moved here last year we have become regulars at Big Daddy's since we moved here "Lyle" and his crew are excellent people, The food and service is outta this world . We are sad for them to close this season for they are not returning! The owner of the motel and pier is building a pier mall for whatever that is worth! Very depressing if you ask us, why change something that has worked for years? Why because the owner is greedy he wants more money for himself! I feel sorry for all the people who stay at the hotel, we meet alot of them on the beach good people all who we have meet! taking Big daddy's down is like removing "The Pavillion" stupid! There are alot of things that should never change in Myrtle but they are for one the Bike Week! What was they thinking, Myrtle Beach lost millions of dollars and the ones that still came to myrtle for that got harassed by the police! Now Harley davidson moved all sales shops out of Myrtle Beach Then the Pavillion! that was part of history. Now the Pier!! Noone is thinking anymore! This all hurts Myrtle Beach if you don't think it does look at the numbers from the last 4 years "They Suck" This will be a has been spot in another 10 years !!!! All to blame is the old members of Myrtle Beach and the city of Myrtle Beach! Thanks people i'm 38 been coming here for 24 years planned on my kids bringing their kids here! Wow! What a let down !!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: My wife and I always stay at the hotel next door to Big Daddy's. We eat there at least 3-4 time during the week we are down on vac. The fried pickles are very good.

Review: This restaurant has been closed for about 3 years. There is a new Big Daddy's Too on the 2nd Ave pier in Myrtle Beach. Same owner, good food! Open for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Review: Me and my husband have gone to the beach at least twice a year since we got married. We make it a point to go to Big Daddys at least once while we are there. We love the food and think that the staff is very friendly and nice.

Review: We stop at "Big Daddys Too" several times during each of our two or three trips to Myrtle Beach each year.
The breakfasts are great and we always sit outside on the deck. Great tables with shells and sharks teeth under glass tops. Also a great view.

Review: Me and my wife ate there and it was a very nice place. If you haven't eaten there you need to. Big Daddy is a very nice guy and his staff was great. I'll eat there every time I return to Myrtle Beach.
