Review: We loved being greeted by the pirate at the front door. Decor has certainly improved over the years. Staff all wear Navy ensign outfits! Crab legs were great and plentiful. So much food......so little time. Buffet has something for everyone! Server was very attentive to our table. We'll go back! Best part was the $10 off coupon/dinner in the local newpaper.

Review: Everytime we go to Myrtle Beach my wife has to go there. She loves the crab legs. She says they are better than anyone elses. I don't eat crab legs, so I end up paying $35 dollars for a plate of spagetti. It will cost you about $80 for 2 people to eat here. They should cut their price in half and sell crab legs only.

Review: I looked forward to going to this restaurant but was disappointed from the time I walked in the front door. The place smelled musky. We were seated immediately but it took about 10 minutes for our server to show up, and it was not even at a busy time. I agree with another person, the restaurant seems to concentrate on quanity rather than quality. I will not return to this restaurant. It is pricey and below average for a restaurant, period.

Review: Our first experience at this restaurant left us disappointed. The food was plentiful but tasted very average except the crab legs and the pulled pork which were excellent. The service was great, we were seated immediately as were went when they first opened. If you love all you can eat crablegs the value is ok, otherwise the price is hefty.

Review: The Original Benjamin's Clabash Seafood Restaurant is cavernous, kitschy and cool. The food is incredible and amazingly fresh, not a small feat for a place big enough to have its own zip code and offering so many varieties of foods. Unlike other reviewers, the inclusion of foods other than seafood on the menu was appreciated by some in our party, particularly children. The mixed drinks are delightful, and don't pass on the dessert bar or you'll regret it. Staff was wonderfully efficient, friendly, and doesn't smother you with unwanted attention in the middle of your meal. Benjamin's Calabash should have its own star on a map of South Carolina.

Review: We visited benjamin's last summer (2005) and cannot say enough about the quality of the food and service. We were seated as soon as we walked in... It has got to be one of the "best" seafood buffets in Myrtle Beach... We are planning our next visit to the beach and to again dine at Benjamins.. (Aug 2006). See you then!!!!

Review: Those fritters were the best as you walk in the door they hand your a basket to eat as you walk to the table. I had a lot of seafood while dining with you and I must say as a buffet it was great. I mostly had the crabs legs (My Fav) but you must understand, you don't offer all you can eat crabs legs to a guy like me. I found a home..Service was excellent..

Review: The greatest restuarant in the world. They have everything you could want to eat and more. It is a little pricey but it is worth it. Coming back in June of 06 and i am bringing 2 new timers to the area. This will be the first place i take them to eat.

Review: This is the best seafood buffet of all Myrtle Beach restaurants. It is not cheap, but you won't leave hungry. I visit them about 6 times a year and look forward to it every time.

Review: Benjamin's Calabash Seafood is an enormous restaurant. There are more than enough staff to service the crowds even at maximum capacity. But when I see a sign that says "seafood buffet", that's what I expect. Yes, there are over 100 different items on the buffet, but not even 20% of that is seafood. It's totally misleading. Also, the quality of food is just horrible. They seem to be focused on quantity rather than quality. I've been there 5 times and it gets worse every year. I believe I've given them a fair chance. It's time to move on.

Review: DO NOT EAT FOR THREE DAYS before you go here I tell ya.... you will need all the space you can get for the 100's of tasty items on the food bars. The CRAB LEGS are always hot and delish....yum! I go every year and have for years...
