Review: After our last visit, this place deserves to be closed.
There must have been a change in management, because it used to be a prime location for an elegant dinner, impecably served and lovely atmosphere. I am not heartbroken it is closed just annoyed that someone let a good restaurant go to pot.

Review: Not sad at all to see this place closed! I think they had a change of management or ownership, because our last visit was a complete nightmare. We had been going the this restaurant for several years. We always had a wonderful meal and great service. Wait staff had obviously been trained on how to time a meal.
The last time we went, the restaurant was fairly empty, but we were sat in the bar area- why? it is noisy and uncomfortable.
It took forever to get food. When it came- there was a huge disgusting black lump in my husbands mashed potatoes- gross!
Not only did the manager refuse to give my husband a new dinner or even acknowledge there was anything wrong with his meal. She stood there and argued with him.
We left sad, dissapointed and the evening was ruined.

Review: We had just arrived in Myrtle Beach and were driving around trying to decide on where to eat when we came upon the Atlantic Grille. Lots of cars in the lot, plus we wanted fish, so we thought it was a good sign. We were looking for something light - not a full course meal, maybe an appetizer and salad or chowder. The menu was pretty much loaded with large entrees. It's more of a formal restaurant although the name would make you think you could get a little more variety. Ordered the broiled lobster balls appetizer - swimming in butter. I ordered the she crab soup, which looked like grits. I've had this soup before and it never looked like that, plus it was too thick and rich. My husband got the seafood gumbo and said it tasted like it had a whole bottle of hot sauce in it. Did not care for the food, won't be back. The service however was very good and we were seated almost immediately.
