Wonderful meal - baked ziti was delicious. I wouldn't go as far to say that it is authentic Italian, but everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. Our waiter was fantastic and very helpful with suggestions for our meal. Would highly recommend.

I've eaten at Amici's on several occasions. This is a very nice little place, casual with class. We went as a small group each time and tried a number of things, making a smorgorsbord for ourselves, along with having pizza and some wine. The wine selection was nice. All the foods we had were very good. The atmosphere is warm and delightful. Service was good and accommodating in all respects. Will definitely return and highly recommend. In fact, as we were leaving we were talking about how this is one of the best kept secrets, as we'd just stumbled upon this restaurant while out around Broadway. Being from Conway, I'm embarrassed at the manner of critique of one of my fellow Conway citizens, as this is not the type of place which would not go out of their way to accommodate a child, as long as the child is not crying and yelling uncontrollably in a way to become a nuisance to other patrons who wish to enjoy their dining experience.

We picked this Broadway On the Beach Eatery after our outing at Magiquest. My wife and I ordered the large pizza with proscuitto. While some of the crust was thin and crispy, large portions were very soggy. More disappointing that there was barely a hint of proscuitto in it. My son seemed to like his individual sausage pizza. Slightly disappointed since the reviews seemed so positive

We visit Myrtle beach once a year and we always hit Amici's atleast two to three times in the week we are there. My favorite is the tortellini michael angelo and the "fresh" bread. Yes, the service could be better but it has been my experience that in the south, wait staff is not always the best although you do find a few good here and there. Our waitstaff experience at Amici's has been hit and miss each time we have gone but the food is always excellent. I will continue to go there everytime I visit Myrtle beach.

I live in Myrtle Beach and have been walking by this restaurant for years. My advice is to keep walking! The sauce, or lack there of, was more of a liquid than a paste which caused the dough to be soggy and not firm and crispy. I have had better pizzas delivered to me from Dominos for a lot less money.

I was there in August and had eaten there last year (See review on 7-11-2007). This year was different the service was non exsistant, our waitress never once offered to refill our drinks or came by to see if we needed anything. She came to our table only three times (to take our order, give us our food, and to give us our bill). The food was great and will eat there again next year but if we have the same waitress we'll go somewhere else.

Don't go is my advice. Our experience can only be described as unbelievable. We were seated in a timely fashion, however, no one came to wait on us for 20 minutes. We could tell they were busy, so tried to be patient. Our waiter finally arrived, and it was evident that this was his first week on the job and had very little training. He took our order and left. 30 minutes later he arrived with one appetizer, no drinks had a arrive by this time. With our waiter, came the manager Mike Murphy, who had two plates in his hand, he was trying to help the new waiter. Mike looked at the plate, scratched some dried food off with his finger, flicked it off the plate and set it in front of me. I was speechless, as well as the table next to us and my table mates. At the time of the incident we were not aware that he was the manager, that came later, after they lost our entire order and we waited for another hour for the food. I would go on about this ordeal, however, I think you get the point. Don't give your business to this establishment, maybe they will get the hint that their employees from management on down need additional training.

This was the absolute worst restaurant I have ever been to.. the service is absolutely terrible. They charged prices that were different than listed on the menu, didn't know how to split up separate checks for our party and the entire staff, including the manager and owner were completely rude to our whole party. I would never eat at this place again and I would hope others wouldn't even waste their time. As if the experience itself wasn't bad enough, the food was disgusting. I ordered a simple dish- spaghetti and it tasted like someone boiled noodles and then threw a bottle of Prego on top. This place was simply awful. Do not visit!!!!

We visited for lunch the first time and were very impressed. We will go back again. We had the lunch specials: Cobb Salad and Pizza and salad. Both were very good. The one fault was that my pizza was a little cold -- by the slice. Others around us had whole pies that looked much better. But I have tasted a lot of pizza and this is really good. A very good value and very good foold.

From the minute we walked in we liked it and it just got better as we got our food. The bread after we ordered was very good. We ordered the Manhattan Clam Chowder which was way more than expected. It was the best Manhattan Clam soup we've had. Great base and stock. There were so many clams! Then our Philly Style pizza came. Thin and crispy and delicious. Excellent brickoven pizza! We'll definitely be visiting Amici's again when we come to Myrtle Beach.

We visited Amici's on a Sat. night of Labor Day weekend and only had a 20 min wait to be seated for a party of 2. The staff was very accommodating of my wheelchair and gave me the choice to remain seated in it or to transfer to a chair Despite being busy with numerous parties of 10-20 people, our service was excellent. The wait for our meal was not long at all. We ordered Shrimp and Chicken Rustica and Penne with Sausage sauce. Our salads were rather large, the foccacia was wonderful and then our pasta dishes were awesome and huge (to me). Either a manager or owner stopped by our table to check and see how everything was and at a later time replaced lost napkins. Drinks were kept refilled not only by our waiter but by others. But, the staff wasn't annoyingly attentive.

Yes, the restaurant was a bit noisy but that is to be expected at almost any restaurant at Broadway. We saw quite a few large families with small children sitting in strollers and high chairs.

I will definitely return to Amici's.

My wife and I visited your establishment in 2004. During our stay there, we ate there twice in one week because the food was so delicious. I am serious when I say that the flavor of the eggplant parmesiano was so delicious. I can't wait to visit again. Don't worry, we will be back and I strongly recommend you guys to everyone. The whole dining experience there was so good. Take care!! and thanks. In South Carolina in comparison to Texas, the local people were very receptive to Black Folks. I have experienced racism before and did not get that there. Love Ya and thanks for the hospitality.

Food and service are ok, but really, there are so many other better choices along the strand, you can find a better deal. And with a family, they don't allow strollers in the restaurant, which is fine, but when you take a child out, not even two months old, that cant sit up in a high chair, it's a little difficult, and in fact, the only restaurant I have ever seen at the beach, that doesn't allow strollers, and I have lived here all my life.

Amici's has become an annual rite during our summer vacation. Next month will be our fourth trip to Amici's. Because we have little ones, we always go early so waiting for a table has never been an issue. The food, especially the pizza and calamari, is excellent, the staff has always been very friendly. Just remember that you're at a high traffic shopping area with lots of kids so don't expect a quiet, romantic dinner, at least you can order wine!

Our group included 3 toddlers & 4 adults. Service was friendly & fast! We loved all the food we ordered, the pizza, garlic cheese bread, & sampler appetizer - all for 45 dollars (did not include tip) Good price!

The server brought complimentary bread to our table after we ordered our food. Ask for it, if they dont bring it prior to eating.
